John Chapter 14, Verse 15-16:
‘If you love me you will keep my commandments and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Paraclete (Helper) to be with you’.
John 14, Verse 26:
But the Paraclete whom the Father will send in my name will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; it is to your advantage that I go away for if I don’t go away; the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you’.
John Chapter 14, verse 30:
I will not now speak many things with you. For the prince of this world cometh, and in me he hath not any thing.
If he doesn’t go away, then the Helper (Paraclete) will not come. Who is this in reference to? The Holy Ghost was with Him so it couldn’t have meant the Ghost?
Was Jesus saying that someone else was to come after Him?
It isn’t the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit was with him and God was with him too.
The above can be supported with
‘it is to your advantage that I go away for if I don’t go away, the Helper will not come to you.’
Who is Jesus talking about? Look and YEE shall find.
